My Month of Humility! Phil2:3

The ego is a problem.
It is a badly perceived term that refers to self, I, self-esteem.
This word consists of bringing everything back on oneself, of turning the world around our person, it is self-love, it is the opposite of what the Bible recommends: the love of neighbor.
To follow our ego means to deny the word of God, to refuse that God is love since with this behavior, nothing else is interesting than what we like or think, we are the only ones to exist and to be considered.
Ego, selfishness, individualism, narcissism, lack of humility are brothers.
It is therefore a handicap, a brake for our walk with Jesus.
Many of us want to do things quickly, to get there quickly, to get married quickly, to work quickly …
We can think of being in the right place, having found happiness …
We wish it may be but is that what God wants? It may be exciting for us but is it the will of God?
We disconnect from the right frequency most of the time because we think of ourselves and ourselves, we want to please our ego, we think that our choices, our dreams are necessarily our happiness.
Our ego wants us to be loved, accepted, always talked about, flattered, always want to impress everyone, but the truth is that we must fight to please God first.
The ego is the flesh, it’s the world.
We are in a world where everyone wants to improve, compare themselves to others to improve, to move forward, we want to feel better, to have done better, that our situation is less serious than the one the other.
We focus too much on ourselves, we monopolize everything for our benefit but God asks us a little altruism this morning.
He says refuse to follow your ego!
Proverbs 16:18 – The arrogance precedes the ruin, and the pride precedes the fall.
Another warning this day, if we want to stagnate, if we want to live in sadness and despair, let’s run away from pride and arrogance.
The word of God says that humility precedes glory.
We want glory, elevation but we refuse to lower ourselves beforehand, be humble, be sociable.
We must pray for God to break our ego.
Pray that the root that sustains all forms of sin in our lives be destroyed.
Without humility, Jesus will not be able to carve us to the right extent, let God deposit his love in us.
Hello friends
Have a good day
