My Month of Benficence!Act20:35

Our flesh really put us in the problems,
Our flesh makes us lose sight of the essential.
Our flesh loves everything that is beautiful, everything that shines even if it is fleeting, even if it is for a moment, it is what interests us.
We fight to save appearances, according to us, it gives us recognition, respect, celebrity … and often we end up maintaining a tare called greed.
We want everything for ourselves and nothing for others, hello pride, selfishness.
We seek with anger riches, goods, not to consume them and help others but to pile them up.
The Lord gives us a recommendation this morning: fast and pray to get rid of stinginess.
1 Timothy 6:18 – Encourage them to do good, to be rich in good works, to have liberality, generosity,
Avarice is the unbridled search for goods.
We can observe around us to understand this phenomenon with people who attach themselves excessively to the riches of the earth, they only maintain relations with people of their status, everything is self centered on them, they are haughty, sufficient , everyone should not enter their car, in their house, they feel that they are too superior that the assisted.
Jesus does not say that the acquisition of goods is not a good thing, he invites us to be rich for him, to use these possessions to help someone, to feed or help those who miss the minimum.
Avarice makes us forget everything, even God since our new lord is our assets, we adore the material, it’s our all, it’s what we stand for, it’s our life.
Let us just know that all is vanity and that God is alive, he alone has the right of life and death over us all, he is the supreme authority of all that we can possess.
But what interests our Lord is our soul, that is what He will ask of us, that is what is of value to the Father.
We focus on the superfluous, we favor multiplication without limit to the point of forgetting the fraternal communion, to the point of neglecting our neighbor, to the point of allowing ourselves to be controlled, we became slaves of it.
Possessions have become our master, our idol before whom we prostrate.
Let us keep from this sin, learn sharing, let others take advantage of us and our goods to increase, to prosper.
To give it has become a scandal even for us Christians, we like to calculate, justify why we do not pay our dimes or give our offerings or help others, we do not appreciate that we talk about the money in the church otherwise the reactions are tough, we always wait for others but difficult for us to do the same, our God lead us to overcome this spirit.
To be Christian is to submit to Jesus in everything in the finances.
We want to love God, we want to surrender ourselves to him, we want to obey him provided that finances are not mentioned.
We can do everything, pray, evangelize, read our Bible but the Holy Spirit does not even try to ask us to put our hand in the pocket.
The Bible says that gold and silver belong to God so if the Father tells us to give, give without thinking.
We do not need to be rich to give and help and do good works.
Our goods will necessarily and never pass the word of God.
So obey.
Hello here
Have a good day
