Sometimes we want change in our lives without being ready to let go of what was hindrance to our progress the season before.
In order for us to get to the next level of glory, we have to let go of past hurt, disagreement, and pain. Carrying these forward and at the same time wanting to advance is impossible.
The Lord clearly states in the book of Matthew 6:14-15 “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Therefore, forgiveness is tantamount to us receiving forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. Decide to forgive anyone who has ever hurt you, spoken evil of you, for it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t count before GOD.
Prayer
Father, I thank You for the gift of life. You have opened my heart to understand that I have to forgive others in order to get to my next level, and because my love for You is more important than any other thing, I have decided to forgive and follow hard after You. Transform me so I can be of use in Your kingdom in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen
