My Month of Commitment!Deut.23:23

Hello team,
The Bible tells us that * obedience is better than sacrifice
Men are content to make sacrifices to God while living in sin, while exposing themselves to the impurities of the world.
This situation is still relevant, we prefer to do what we like and later, to tell us that we are going to be reconciled with the Lord.
God will not approve or reward our negligence.
The lack of attention to him shows our lack of recognition and moves us away from his service.
The Lord sends us back to his school this morning, where education is pointed, where edification is sacred, where obedience is the first condition for the men involved and engaged in his work.
This last point selects in itself many of us since it is not a subject that fascinates us.
We must understand that when God gives us commandments, it is because He loves us, He knows what is good for us.
Obeying God changes us and makes our lives better.
To obey is to do the will of God, it is to submit, it is to listen, it is to accept, it is to yield, it is to falter, it is to respect, it is to admit …
How many blessings have we gone through because of simple obedience?
How many prayers have not been answered because of disobedience?
How many ministries have come out of the Lord’s plan because of the disregard of divine instructions?
Disobedience deprives us of the Holy Spirit.
Saul followed his desires, his will, his feelings instead of obeying the voice of the Lord.
He thought that his sacrifice was sufficient, that with this gesture he would receive divine favors rather than obey.
This is what we spend most of our time doing, being distracted by our ignorance instead of practicing the word of God.
In any case, God tells us in Genesis, 27: 8 – Now, my son, listen to my voice for what I command you.
Pray to be dedicaded in obeying God’s voice.
We spent our time doing what was going on in our heads, we did things to satisfy our flesh, we let ourselves be led by the eyes of others and we let ourselves be influenced by appearances and by our traditions but God said this morning, * enough is enough *.
He tells us that we have done it for a long time and it is time to do it in his own way by respecting his prescriptions.
He invites us to move in and let him take control, he wants us to combine with him to experience the rest and peace we need.
So it’s up to us to be determined to live for the glory of God.
Let us listen, be quick to obey and do what he asks of us and we will enjoy his blessings.
