My Month of Spiritual Growth! 2Chronicles17:6

Oh Lord, take pity on us,
You speak to us of charity this morning and only this word makes us already maugreer.
The times are difficult, everything is closed, some are saturated with hardships, others do not even have enough to eat.
Even in this drought, you invite us to share, not to turn away from the one who is in need.
We all have an excuse not to help others, we are always inviting the other to work hard like us to get some, it’s true that the Bible says that * if someone does not want to work, that he does not eat either * but can we imagine the number of children sleeping with an empty stomach? Do we know how many are starving each day?
With all this, how can we stand before these people and talk about Jesus who is the solution in all things? How can we convince them of the love of God?
What courage can we have to invite them to communion when we are unable to accompany them, when we can not ourselves offer them a draft solution, when we ourselves, we do not escape.
It’s difficult, it’s very complicated but God is love and because of this love, he went through all the obstacles for you and me, he was not discouraged, it was not obvious but he He arrived there, he was appointed, he sacrificed everything and he paid the price.
Charity is love, indulgence, kindness, fraternity, mercy …
Charity is a virtue.
We can not call ourselves Christians if we do not practice charity, we can not say that we know and love God if we refuse charity.
* I know a Christian family who is financially stable but does not share anything of theirs, * * the woman and the children have lots of things that they do not use any more but refuse to give to those who do not have, for they, * * people are mean and can hurt them. * * They prefer not to give anything to anyone *
And that’s how we all behave, we always find excuses for not helping the needy yet everyone has something to give.
We refuse to make efforts on anything but we wait for God to do for us, we want to benefit from grace without having anything to give.
For this morning, God challenges us.
Practicing charity is part of spiritual growth, it is time to understand it.
Until we put this word into action, we can not experience the Lord in his faithfulness and sovereignty.
And it is with this advice that he leaves us this morning
Practice charity.
1 John 3:18 – Little children, let us not love in word and with tongue, but in deeds and with truth.
Love is not words in the air, it is not honeyed and flattering words, we must not be indifferent to others, we must not be insensitive when others need support.
It is an essential commandment, we know that to love is easy to say that to live, love is not selfish or personal.
To love God is to love others.
We can not pretend to love the Lord when we neglect those around us.
Hello people of God
