If we belong to Christ, we would like to show him our love, and manifest his characters in everything we do.
The Bible tells us in
Colossians 1:10 – to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and to be entirely pleasing to him, bearing fruit in all kinds of good works and growing by the knowledge of God,
To walk according to God, one must be born again.
The life of a child of God is a battle, an arena in which grace sustains us.
To walk in a dignified manner is to have the fear of God, to respect his principles, to position oneself as an heir to the throne of glory.
This morning, the Lord tells us Let the Lord be seen through your lifestyle!
The Bible says that * gold and silver belong to our Father *
Should a Christian live in luxury?
His lifestyle or way of life must be a blessing for our neighbor.
Each of us wants to enjoy life.
We always want more, more to be safe, more to be happy, more to be stable.
In any case, having a lifestyle that glorifies the Lord is relative, everything depends on our culture, our history, our social position, our financial means …
We must learn to be happy with what God gives us, and above all to be generous to others.
Deciding to give to our neighbor is to decide to give up some things in our lives.
And that’s what the Lord expects of us, if we trust him, we do not always need more, we take advantage of life and know where our priorities are.
God expects each one of us to lead an exceptional life according to the standards that distinguish us from the world.
Let us not be dominated by what the world imposes on us, let us be authentic disciples, let us be convinced of having to deal with the word of God.
