Make us sensitive to you, Eternal
Make us dependent on you, Lord
Whenever we are in your house, Whenever we are in your presence,
we would like to stay focused on you,
we would like our goal, our goal to praise you, to celebrate you to be achieved.
We put too many things in priority except you, father.
We have made our needs a form of idolatry that we all too often forget that Jesus is the beginning and the end.
We have often looked too much at our shortcomings that the Lord recommends one thing to stay attached to him: pray to always give God praises.
Hebrews 13:15 – Through him, offer to God continually a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.
All sacrifice to God only passes through Jesus by virtue of his love for us,
It is to thank God for everything that happens to us,
it is to recognize that our lives depend on him,
Praise is thanksgiving,
it is an expression, it is what comes out of our mouths, it expresses the greatness of God.
Praise is the dwelling place of the Lord, if we want to connect to the throne of glory,
give to God a sacrifice of praise.
* A sacrifice *: a gift, a sacred offering.
Praise is the reason God blesses us, the interest for which He invests on us.
Let’s go in the presence of the Lord this morning, offer him everything we have, our dance steps, our smile, our time, our being …
It is a safe shelter that will always be available to all of us.
