My Month of Compassion! Is61:1

We sometimes think that life is a due, an inheritance, that we can do what we want when we want. We do not realize how privileged we are to be alive and well until we face a disgusting situation. We live in the appearances of the world, in illusions and we never seriously think about it. God reminds us this morning in Isaiah 38:16 – Lord, it is by your kindness that we enjoy life, It is through them that I still breathe; You restore me, you restore me to life. No one is like our God, the giver of life! Celebrate him! Life is a precious gift. God does not entitle us to anything, he has already given us everything, he is the only person who speaks and decrees and no one gives him a request for explanation. He is God. A story in the Bible guides us: Ezechias was a fit king who served the Lord, he tried to put into practice the commandments of the Lord but one day he became sick, very sick. The prophet Isaiah had been sent by the Lord to give him his death sentence. But the king understood that he was perhaps king, that he had the right of life and death over his subjects, but at this very moment, there is an authority that is far beyond him, he understood that his life depended only on one person: God. He humbled himself, he repented, he opened his heart to the King of kings. And not only has he been healed, but the Lord has added 15 years to his life. How important are we to our lives? We think that being alive is normal. Some find it even useless. Let’s understand this morning that life is a gift from heaven. Waking up in the morning is a grace of the Lord, it is because he wants, it is because he loves us that we are still there. Let’s stop thinking that it is because we are rich or influential that we have the right to life. We are so ungrateful that we never take the time to say thank you for our lives, We are never thankful for this gift of life. It is time to think of the goodness of God, he likes to please us, he is good for N reasons. And it is because of this goodness that the Lord renews our strength every day. Hello people of God Have a good day.
