My Month Of Impact!Mt5:16

Adonijah son of David had the perfect profile to be a king.
He was eloquent, he was convincing.
Absalom’s younger brother was an exemplary son, surely obedient, studious, intelligent.
He was very handsome, in addition even his father, had never reproached him.
He really had everything to be a leader.
This youngster was so appreciated that he began to pretend.
Let’s see what he did.
Adonija, beautiful course in sight, decided to take action.
Her father was old and dying.
He was according to him the next king.
He proclaimed whoever wanted to hear him who was David’s successor, he was the king.
Adonija with his team, his fan club that supported him, he had the priests on board, he had organized a party in his honor and for him, it was unthinkable to have another seat than the throne.
Adonijah feels so above others that he covets Abischag, the Sunamite, his father’s wife.
David’s son was blind to his weaknesses, he trusted himself and his abilities, he was a proud, boastful, pretentious man.
It is this character of which the Lord speaks to us in the morning, he wants to deal with this venom which eats away at several layers, he wants to tear the veil which maintains this root in our lives.
Pride is the legitimate satisfaction we feel when we do our job well, this sin causes us to focus on ourselves and our thoughts drift away from God.
Pride makes people bold, and feel sovereign.
Pride prevents us from devoting ourselves to God.
The proud is boastful, he gives himself merit, he nurtures the cult of personality, he likes to display his merits, his accomplishments, he likes to attract the attention, he likes to be revered, acclaimed, celebrated, he belittles others to be tall.
We are all concerned with this leech, we all have the devil’s mindset, he failed out of pride and he is fighting to get us to hell with him.
We also sometimes have false humility yet we are always acclaiming our faults, our imperfections. And subtly, we put ourselves at the center of everything while pushing God aside.
In 1 Corinthians, 5: 6 – It is very wrong that you boast. Don’t you know that a little sourdough makes all the dough rise?
Fast and pray against the spirit of pride.
The Corinthians had received the teaching but they refused the truth.
Their pride made them forgetful and careless.
Their arrogance, their human reasoning, their attachment to the world has completely blinded them and drives them to destroy the church if nothing is done.
One can have many gifts, talents, success, blessings, and respect like the Corinthes but also have many sins.
We must watch over our purity.
The verse that interests us speaks to us about the influence that pride can have if nothing is done, if we do not part with our old lives, we will infiltrate the leaven in the church and it will act as gangrene.
We spend most of our time tolerating, accepting immortality, pride in church, we refuse to remove leaven that could be a source of corruption.
God hates pride, we must ask forgiveness from the Lord for misguidedness, we must trust the Lord and give Him all the glory.
Let Yaweh break us down and take away all the burdens that prevent us from giving him all the glory.
May the name of the Lord be exalted.
Hi world
Have a good day
