My Month Of Fulfillment! Matt7:7

Greed is one of the seven deadly sins and God forbids it.
Avarice is the frantic search for goods, it is to make idols of our wealth.
A man in the Bible had plenty and he had no space to store his harvest.
He has redone his attic to accumulate his goods and be proud of them.
And God was not happy with this attitude.
We can be rich, be proud of our assets and allow ourselves to rest.
And in our posture, we are selfish, self-centered and careless of others.
What character do we display when we are blessed?
How do we treat the needy who need us?
How do we look at them?
Our looks retransmit contempt, sufficiency.
Our words are pretentious, disrespectful because we have people at our feet who lack the bare minimum.
The problem is not the acquisition of our wealth, rather it is what we do with the blessings that God gives us.
Let’s be careful, the material has become a god in our lives and God is only interested in our soul.
In this story, God called this gentleman a fool, a madman because nothing was of value to him except his opulence.
And us ?
How does God see us? What does he call us?
We accumulate money on money, we are permanently dissatisfied and we neglect God, brotherhood with our brothers, all that matters to us is our wealth.
A rich man in the Bible boasted of being an example.
For him he was perfect and God couldn’t blame him, he knew that going to church and reading his bible was a must until he met Jesus and learned that it was still possible for him to to be an example.
But the rich man was not able to go and sell all his possessions to follow Jesus.
He lacked the courage to get rid of all the superfluous that prevented him from putting himself at the service of the Lord and he made his choice.
What tears families apart is the feeling of greed that runs rampant.
This is the main motivation of the hatreds among us, to sit on a throne and reign.
In any case, God does not agree with this habit and he makes it clear to us.
The earth and all that it encloses belongs to the Lord, we are only stewards, guardians, overseers.
God blesses us so that we in turn are sources of blessing so let us reassure ourselves that we are walking in the footsteps of the Lord.
Deuteronomy, 16:17 – Everyone will give what he can, according to the blessings that the LORD your God has given him.
Do not be stingy with the blessings the Lord has given you.
Everyone has received something from the Lord, everyone has something in their hand and we must share according to the measure granted to us.
Let us hasten to support others, to be generous so that our Father who is in heaven may multiply our blessings and open the floodgates of heaven so that we may be relays of grace and smiles.
Let us come out of the sharp love of possessions and may the name of Yaweh be exalted.
Hello
Good day
