My Month Of Prayers ! 1Pe4:7

We have just come out of a 21-day fast, we have worked to make our year grace-filled, we have paid the price, we have made a sacrifice, we have been faithful and the Lord has seen our hearts.
That’s good, but we still want to know if we have remembered to pray for the needy in this whole journey of prayer.
Did we carry the burden of the needy?
Have we interceded for the poor, for the weak?
In this work before the Lord, have we made any gestures of generosity or liberality to those in need?
What exactly have we done?
Just thought about ourselves, our projects, our families.
The Bible recommends that we love one another, which means that there are no restrictions in love, there are no conditions.
When we love, we want to see others happy, we want God to bless them.
The needy is not necessarily our family members, it’s anyone, it’s a stranger, it’s an orphan, it’s anyone who is in need.
Peter and John met a paralysed man outside the synagogue.
This lame man had been brought there to ask for alms.
Peter and John had no money or gold but they took pity on the man.
They knew that this person needed help, they knew that this person needed support.
They could not pass by without praying for this disabled person, they could not leave without telling him about the Gospel, without telling him about their Jesus, without praying for him.
They were aware that they had nothing to give but the word of life that restores all situations and they released him.
The story tells us that instantly after the prayer, the needy man regained the use of his feet.
For someone who had never walked in his life, he ran to show his miracle to the world, he wanted his testimony to be known, he began to lift up the name of Jesus with new songs.
The Lord does not need our social status to make his entrance into our lives.
Psalms, 10:12 – Arise, O Lord, lift up your hand, O God. Don`t forget the needy.
Pray for the needy.
Let us know this morning that God does not forget those who are going through difficult times.
God is not forgetful, he knows what we are going through.
In due course the Lord will rise up and put an end to all oppression and show the world his glory.
Let us stop worrying, let us pray for all those who are thirsting for our Jesus.
Let us pray that the light of the Lord will locate all those who are lost and misguided.
Jesus is the answer to all our concerns.
Let us draw closer to him and we will not be disappointed.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
