My Month Of Joy! Ps30:11

Yes, Joseph, they sent you away because they did not want you.
Yes, David, you spent part of your life running away from Saul who was after your life.
Yes, Jephthah, they cast you out and rejected you because you were the son of a prostitute.
Yes, Elijah, you lived in the desert because Jezebel killed all the prophets.
Yes, Hannah, you cried for years because you wanted a child.
Yes, we have had twelve years of blood loss without a solution.
So many trials in our lives.
So many things that hurt so much and that we sometimes can’t deal with.
We think it’s all over for us when everything is dark around us.
We think that Jesus has forgotten us.
When the storm comes to darken our skies, our heads are bowed, we are sad.
Let us be told to take heart,
everything has an end,
the storm will subside and serenity will enter our hearts.
The Bible tells us that it is Jesus who invites the disciples to go to the other side.
While they are on their way in the sea, a violent storm arises.
The waves wash over the boat and fill it.
Everyone is in a panic, everyone sees death.
And Jesus is sleeping.
How can he sleep when everything goes wrong?
How can he be calm in such a situation?
Jesus is with us, he represents peace,
security,
resurrection,
serenity and we are in total fear.
How can this be explained?
The disciples woke Jesus up and he silenced the sea.
But Jesus also asks us the question: why are we so afraid?
Is he not there?
Do we still not have faith?
Jesus is our source of joy in the face of these upheavals.
Jesus is our strength in the face of adversity.
These tribulations are just for a while.
It will pass and the victory will be ours.
James, 1:2 – Brethren, look upon the various trials to which you may be exposed as a cause for complete joy,
Fast and pray that triais will henceforth be sources of joy.
Our faith will always be tested.
Let us not be discouraged,
let us trust in the Lord and give thanks to him.
He is our source of living water.
So let us rejoice.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
