My Month Of Joy! Ps30:11

We want to say one thing to each other this morning.
Let’s stop with our complexes which only contribute to keep us in frustrations.
We have been sick for thirty-eight years,
We have been bleeding for twelve years,
We are lame from birth,
We are crippled with a foot,
We are not brown as such,
We have a wide face,
We are short…
So many complaints…
Yet the word of God gives us value,
we are precious in the eyes of the Lord,
The Bible reminds us in Psalms 2 that we are the children of the Lord, he has begotten us today.
To beget means to carry us in his womb with patience, to give birth to us, to nurse us and to take care of us.
Here the Lord positions himself as a mother.
This begetting is today, every day.
To be God’s son is to have received and inherited all that he has, all that he is.
It is to be in his likeness.
Psalms, 139:14 – I praise you that I am such a wonderful creature. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows it well.
Be joyful, for you are magnificent being!

Can we say the same?
We see only faults,
only weaknesses!
only mistakes!
Just what we need to change.
We are unique in the eyes of the Lord.
In the eyes of the Lord, we must love others as ourselves.
This means that if we do not love ourselves, we will have difficulty loving others.
So the Lord invites us to keep a positive image of ourselves,
to forgive ourselves and to be grateful to Him.
Father, help us to see ourselves as you see us.
We want to give you all the glory of what a magnificent being we are.
Everything you do Yaweh is for our good.
We give you all the honour and glory.
