My Month Of Honor! Jn12:26

Honouring the Lord is not what we say every day,
Our mouths are full of things but our hearts are so far from the word of God.
To honour God
is to love him,
it’s being constantly in his presence,
it’s knowing him.
But what do we do to show the Lord that we care about him?
Our Bibles are under our pillows,
We spend most of our time complaining about our storms, but do we really lay them at the Father’s feet?
Are we really following in the footsteps of the Lord?
Do we respect the instructions laid down by him?
We are so full of ourselves, my brothers,
we think we are more important than heaven, yet we are just a worm before our Father.
Too much pride disturbs us,
We want to take God’s place,
we want him to bend to our laws,
We want him to bend to our laws, to do as we think, otherwise we are disappointed.
Honouring the Lord also means accepting to abandon ourselves at the foot of the Lord,
it means letting him break us,
it means letting God do as he pleases.
Honouring the Lord means putting yourself at the Lord’s service,
it means getting off our heels and cleaning the utensils and the house of God.
When we think and act in ways that reflect the Lord and show that he is in control of our lives, we are honouring him.
Honouring God means singing hymns to him at all times,
thanking him for his blessings,
it’s keeping our eyes on him instead of worrying about ourselves.
Let us be generous,
Let us love others,
Let us serve others.
It’s all about honouring the Lord.
Malachi, 2:2 – If you dont listen, if you dont take heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, I will put a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings; yes, I will curse them, because you don`t take heart.
Fast and pray to continually honor the Lord.
In order not to receive the curse, we must not act as if we are insensitive to the word of God, if we neglect what the Lord gives us as instructions,
we will always come up against obstructions.
The Lord gives us the choice, it’s up to us to decide what we want.
If it’s a curse, it’s eternal lamentations, but if it’s a blessing, we know that honouring God automatically attracts blessing.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
