My Month Of Prosperity! 3Jn1:2

Lord, we give you all the glory.
We acknowledge that you can do all things and that nothing is impossible for you.
Here is another testimony,
here is another visitation,
here we are in a new day and we want to lift up your holy name.
To introduce us to this new week
you speak to us of the kingdom of God,
you want to awaken our consciences,
you want to draw our attention to our light-hearted way of dealing with things from above.
We’re too focused on assets, we’re worried about tomorrow, we’re concerned about our children’s future… but no one is really interested in the depths of practising God’s word.
We complain that nothing works,
that everything is difficult,
that we lack provision,
that we’re not successful because we haven’t put God first.
The Bible tells us that Jesus entered a village and went to Martha’s house.
Martha had a sister called Mary who went to sit at Jesus’ feet to receive from him,
to learn from him, to grow spiritually.
In the meantime, Martha was overwhelmed by the many concerns of service.
Her zeal was not according to knowledge.
She set to work without first having been in the company of the Lord and in communion with him, and therefore without having been instructed in his thoughts by his word. The result was that she was distracted by much service.
Don’t we sometimes act like Martha, undertaking service according to human ideas and methods?
From morning to night, we can be engaged in continual activity and yet neglect the one thing that is necessary: to be alone with the Lord,
*No wonder then that we are distracted.
Jesus wants us to serve him, but above all he wants us to be in his company so that he can teach us.
This morning we must understand that we must be interested in the things of God,
we must set our minds on the things above.
If we seek first the kingdom of God, we will have everything we need.
We are not going to think of ourselves first, before we think of GOD.
That is not worthy of a son or daughter of GOD.
The servant thinks first of his master and always thinks of his master.
The Lord Jesus does not want our worries, our concerns, our needs, our difficulties to prevent us from praying to GOD, from serving GOD,
from adoring GOD,
from praising GOD.
He does not want our thoughts to be turned day and night to our material and financial needs.
By dint of thinking about our problems, we no longer pray, or we spend less time in prayer and reading the Bible, and our faith diminishes.
This saddens GOD. Let us draw near to him and he will do his part.
Matthew, 6:33 – Seek first the kingdom and the righteousness of God, and all these things will be added to you.
Pray to make the kingdom of God your priority.
Let’s put our God first and spend time with him every day.
Then we will experience more joy and peace, and finally feel completely secure in him.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
