My Month of Gratitude! Job12:9

In this world, we say we know love, we say we have met the love of our life, and that for this love, we are ready to bear everything, to cash in, to sacrifice everything, we are convinced that we we can do it, we can face the whole world for love. This is what many of us will say, we are ready to fall and recover, to accept frustrations to live that feeling, to protect that flame in us, to prevent it from going away. Maybe that’s the love we think men have. It may flatter us, but we want to ask ourselves if our hearts can beat so strong for Jesus Christ? How far will we go for the Lord? What are we willing to put aside for the father there? We are certainly saying a lot of things in our hearts but for all of us, these are just words. We are too afraid to reveal ourselves, to be alone. We are afraid that we will be rejected, judged, criticized, mocked by us because we are not sexually active, or we do not drink alcohol or while we do not dress as fashion dictates or when we are alone, no boyfriends. People are going to point us and what are they doing, people are going to insult us, where is the problem? It’s our life, it’s our choice, it’s for our Jesus. The devil has made us understand too much that life is beautiful and short, it must be lived without limit and in full tooth. This teaching sticks to our skin too much. In its subtlety, Satan leads us to align with the world but ask us what he has to lose? NOTHING Jesus paid everything for us, he deserves that we be humiliated because of him, he deserves that we are treated of has been, he deserves that we are crazy for him. In this season, we must reach the level where we can make an effort for God, where we will say with all our heart that we love Jesus and that will be the truth. We can be in church, we can commune together, we can even evangelize to glorify the name of the Lord, but we are not ready to accept and receive stones that people can throw at us. Peter was a follower of Jesus, he walked with him, he prayed with him, he slept with Jesus,
he thought he knew Jesus and he openly expressed his love for Jesus, but when Jesus needed him, when Jesus needed his support, when he had to intercede for Jesus, Peter bowed, he fled, he allied himself to the enemy, he chose the camp he thought was strong at that moment, he refused the insults, he disconnected from Jesus and he denied it. Peter let his self dominate him, he listened to the violent cries of his flesh and that’s normal. We are surely telling us that we would not have done like Pierre but it’s wrong, we would have done the same and it’s not like it works in this world. As long as we do not offer ourselves to the Lord as a living sacrifice, we can not claim to follow Him, God wants us all. We must know one thing this morning, the more we grow up with God, the more expensive the sacrifices are. We must learn to yield, to renounce everything and to attach ourselves to the one who is the only one who can make us part of our promises. As long as we live, nothing will be easy, there will always be temptations, tests tests … it is also by this that God will gauge our obedience, our commitment, our submission and be able to accurately conclude where is our heart. An opportunity is offered to us, show God our belonging and take up the challenge. Oh Lord, we give you thanks. Give us to renounce everything that prevents us from setting ourselves apart for your work. Allow us to be vessels of honor through which you boast. 1 Peter 4:14 – If you are outraged for the name of Christ, you are happy, because the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of God, rests upon you. Bless the Lord for every time you have been insulted because of him. Hello, have a nice day
