My Month of Benficence!Act20:35

Hello Beloved ones,
Our theme this morning is instituted: * altruism *
What is it?
Is this a feeling? Is this a behavior? Is it an appearance? Is a facade? …
Altruism is a love offered unconditionally, it does not depend on anything, it does not depend on an attitude, the opinion of the other, or a particular interest, it is the respect of every man .
Jesus is an example of an altruistic love, his disciples left everything they had, their homes, their families, the jobs to follow him, the Lord in return did not abandon them, he loved them, he protected, he taught, he provided for their needs, and not a moment, Jesus got tired of them. Despite their shortcomings, despite their weaknesses, his love for them did not catch on.
It was always out of love for us that Jesus did not think of himself alone by agreeing to go to the cross, we mistreated him, we nailed him to the cross … and it did not influenced by this gesture, he wanted us to understand that the love of neighbor is inseparable from the love of God, it is even the basis of the Christian life.
The Lord invites us to change our thoughts, to separate ourselves from the logic of the world that we love those who love us and that we hate those who hate us, he wants to prevent us from molding ourselves into the divisions of the world that tells us that we are friends, or we are enemies.
Jesus wants to shake our minds today, if Jesus who was Jewish could speak to the Samaritan woman, if he could break the laws of men to reconcile two countries, it means that love transcends everything. He saw the Samaritan woman as a sister, as his neighbor and established a relationship with her.
Who is our neighbor?
A brother? A sister? An orphan? A widow? A needy?
We are together because the Lord wants us to understand we are indispensable to each other, it is better for us to develop brotherhood.
The word of God says in Isaiah, 1:17 – Learn to do good, seek justice, Protect the oppressed; Do the Orphan, Defend the widow.
Pray to develop altruism.
It will be easy for us to say that we have never harmed, or even mistreated an orphan or a widow, but are we sensitive and have given them special help? We watch them suffer without words, without action, we know deep inside us that they need
and we do not react.
We commit a sin.
GOD says * defend the widow, do right to the orphan, protect the oppressed *
Do we do it?
It’s even these people we fight the most.
Widows and orphans are robbed by us after the death of the head of the family, the nesseciteux are rejected, we make fun of them.
Jesus tells us this morning to be careful, to fight them is to run the risk of fighting against God.
Altruism is sharing, it is communion, it is to separate from our ego to give place to the other, it is love, it is compassion, it is to stand together To advance.
We know that suffering makes people available and altruistic, not that they are necessarily so, but that they are forced to do it.
God just wants us to understand that our situation must not prevent us from recognizing the value of others, we must not be naive, but our eyes must be more lucid towards others so that God may visit us.
Hello again
good day
